These versatile units have an advantage over many other floorstanders in that they can be placed right against a side or back wall, without causing boom. 18 June 2010: Analogue: The P3-24 has no competition: The success of the Rega design has stood the test of time. In well over twenty years the basic design of the Rega Planar 3 (now called the P3-24) has changed very little if at all, including the RB300 arm. If you doubt the qualities of a Rega, then speak to the thousands of happy owners and you will be convinced! The P3-24 is available for R9500.00 inclusive. The arm can use a number of cartridges, including Rega's Bias, Elys and Exact, and also works perfectly with Ortofon's range of MM and MC cartridges.

This amazing unit simply gets down and does the job, with no attention focussed on itself but only on the music. Available mostly in satin, with black units occasionally available.
